Bye bye 2007

It had been a hectic but yet meaningful year and today is the last of it.
Many things happened,
big decisions made,
life changed,
environment change,
and even my house have a brand new look.
However,
I still thank God for everything that happened in 2007. Everything good and bad.
I earnestly pray that in the coming 2008
God will continue to be in control of my life and in everything that i do, I'll honor Him...
Life is tough
but friends...
you will never walk alone...

Oops...I broke my promise..

I'd promise in my previous post to post at least once in a week but sad to say that i didn't manage to do so. SORRY!!! I really don't mean to do so but I'm really overloaded with tonnes of assignments. Forgive me and bear with me for one more week. Then I'll be more regular in blogging. Actually I'm still rushing for my marketing assignment now. So... See ya

Almost forget,

Merry Christmas and to those whom I forgotten to say happy birthday or whom i might forget... Happy birthday!!!

Innocent

I'm very innocent and I really mean it.
not that I'm lazy to compose new post regularly
just that I'm too busy doing assignments (liar)
too tired of sleeping
and too ... lazy
Sigh...
nowadays some "people"make me feel guilty for not blogging regularly.
I really try to make it regular
but ...
You know my laziness, hard to change...
Maybe like this, I'll try to blog at least once a week
simply update what is going on for the week.
hope that "people" will understand...

Holiday.....NOT!!!

Normally, people will feel happy if they got 2 weeks holiday...
Normally, people will enjoy the 2 weeks holiday they got...
Normally, people will have great memories in the 2 weeks holiday they hardly get...

AM I not normal?!
If not why
I didn't fell happy for having 2 weeks holiday...
I didn't enjoy the 2 weeks holiday they got...
I didn't have great memories in the 2 weeks holiday they hardly get...

The only thing that satisfied me is the 2 weeks on non-stop EAT, SLEEP and WATCH TV at home ALONE while others back to their home town or at least go shopping with friends...Gosh! I'm bored to tears and yet... Nobody asked me out as they are all back to their comfortable home town...
Another new semester is coming...
Hope that everything will be fine...

Sigh....

I'm going to have my final exam soon... This means I can't update this blog as frequent as I do. However, this is what i'd done today...

Well... I started off waking up at 6.50am... Thanks to Jonnie
:( Then I woke up and iron my clothes... wait... This is not the point! Why on earth do I have to iron my clothes? Jonnie sms me to wear formal, that's why...

Forget about that...

The best thing is I skipped English lecture for the sake of pass year papers and KFC...

Really starting to feel the stress now.

I pray that I'll pass my papers with flying colors...

Pretty Please....after All the SACRIFISES I made...

Define-- LOVE

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?" The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love." Rebecca - age 8

"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."
Billy - age 4

"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other." Karl - age 5

"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs." Chrissy - age 6

"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."
Terri - age 4

"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."
Danny - age 7

"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss" Emily - age 8

"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."
Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)

"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate,"
Nikka - age 6 (we need a few million more Nikka's on this planet)

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday." Noelle - age 7

"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well." Tommy - age 6

"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore." Cindy - age 8

"My mommy loves me more than any body. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night." Clare - age 6

"Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken." Elaine-age 5

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Brad Pitt." Chris - age 7

"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day."
Mary Ann - age 4

"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones." (Maybe she just teasing her sis) Lauren - age 4

"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you." (what an image) Karen - age 7

"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget." Jessica - age 8

And the final one -- Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child. The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.
Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said,
"Nothing, I just helped him cry"
What simple act can show out LOVE but why adults make it so complicated with $ and advantages? Learn from a child, and the world can be a much better place to live with LOVE

A Call...

Yesterday i got an unexpected phone call from my sister Jeannette. Usually she speak serious things with me over the phone (not really serious actually) She started off with some chatting and at the end she asked me :" Are you lonely? That day Po Po (grandmother) prayed for you ans she say she feel that you are very lonely..." upon hearing that, pearly tears streamed down my cheek incessantly. In fact, I'm having very serious home sick and very often I feel LONELY, Not that I don't believe that God is with me but I really need someone to give me a hug, telling me I'm not alone...

Exhausted...

Yesterday I stayed up the whole night just to do some stupid assignments. The effect is, I cannot concerntrate at all on the 1st lecture today. There are still advantages though, at least I didn't miss the bus and need not to walk another extra 30 minutes to school. All I wanna do now is to grab my pillow and have a good rest...

I'm saved...

I'm saved, I'm saved...

For the pass few days I've been encountering serious network problem. Only then i realised the importance of cables as for the 3 boring days, I am glad to say bye bye to you. Can you imagine 3 days without Internet access? Thank God now it is all over...

Today I've got an opportunity to listen to a story told by my pastor of my church.

He said :" One day, a standard four teacher asked her student to take out a piece of paper. Then she ask her students to write on the paper all the things that they CAN NOT do and even the teacher herself start writing. Some say I cannot sing well, some say I cannot fail my papers, and some even say I cannot date Miss Valerie, which is most probably this teacher. Then Miss Valerie asked the students to put all their papers into this shoe box in front of the class. When everyone puts in their paper, she puts in hers ans close the box. After that she walked out the classroom with the other students following her in a line. They stopped at the school's backyard. Lo and behold, there's a mini spade there. Miss Valerie picked up the spade and start digging. She pass the spade to the students until everyone contribute in digging the hole. With a serious face, Miss Valerie said:" Class, thank you for joining Mr. CANNOT's funeral. Over the years he had torture us with lots of ways but today he is going to rest in peace. Then all of them take a little bit of mud that they just dug and filled the hole."

What a story. When you are in the state of giving up, remember this story, you may not bury Mr. CANNOT alone but, WE can do it together. Don't give up, you CAN!

Finally

Finally...
I FINALLY got Leehom's new release 改变自己
Here are some recomandation to you:
When you feel like to change your ways of living listen to 改变自己。
In times of losing motivation, listen to 爱的鼓力。
When you have a quarrel with your family, listen to 落叶归根which reminds people not to forget our root, our family.
In a moody saturday night, listen to 星期六的深夜。
When you need something nice to listen, listen to 不完整的旋律。
Afriend of mine told me, you need to listen for a few rounds then you can really enjoy the song, I'd tried and I really agree to her point of view, maybe you can try so too.

Greetings

Greetings:

To those who are new to this blog and or new to me. I'm indeed priviledged to annouce to you that this blog is officially open!

My name is Michelle Chok(please don't read it as Micheal Chok which is a boy's name) I'm from Malaysia(the country ABOVE singapore) born in Tawau in the state of Sabah. I'm a Christian from a family of seven with three sisters above me (all 7+ yrs older than me), grandmama and my parents. I love guitar and Bible alot, I did some song composing but I'm not so good in writting lyrics and my favourite singer is Leehom Wang. Not just because he is handsome, he is very talented. see for yourself at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXAglbJUFyE

I'm currently studying foundation in arts at University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Petaling Jaya which would lead me to Bachelor of Chinese Studies. Though many asked me why I choose chinese study and not english studies, I can only say: " Don't ask why, it's like that " hahaha...
Sorry if the joke didn't work. However, I'm quite an open people, open in a sense of sharing my personal feelings. I can be very playful but when it's time to serious, I mean it. Other than that, I have some good friends. They willl rebuke me when I'm wrong, encourage me when I'm down. One of the best is Jonnie Shim. Not be mistaken, this is a SHE not a HE. "teasing me is her cup of tea" this is what I used to tell others about her. I think that's almost everything about me, hope you enjoy reading : )
